The Workout Of The Day: What We’re Doing To Get Fit And Healthy!
Start Of Olivia’s 30 Day Challenge And Terry’s Leg Day
Today was another eating mainly raw day; two bananas in the morning, as well as blending up a cantaloupe smoothie (half a cantaloupe with 1/3 pineapple and water), as well as a handful of almonds. Later on for a snack I had fresh cut tomatoes with fresh basil on whole grain toast. I didn’t workout today, instead I set goals for the next 30 days! I plan on having raw mondays (eating mainly raw all day), going to run at least 7 miles a week (that might go up if I meet that goal too easily), and working on my arms! I’d like to see a noticeable difference in my arm muscles, which as can be seen in the picture above, I have none! I’ll post what I do for the strength training there, and a little bit of what I eat every day. 126.6 is my starting weight, and I’d like for that to go up actually because I’d like to gain lean muscle, but tone up my over all body.
I don’t need to LOSE weight at all, because I’m already pretty skinny. But I don’t want to be skinny, I’d rather be fit and athletic. The only challenge I think I’ll have with this challenge are my mainly raw mondays. When I eat mainly raw, I have to eat a LOT of fruits and vegetables, and I feel like I’m over eating even though I know I’m getting all the calories I need for the day.
Terry had his leg day, which included:
Squats 4 x 20, 1 x 15
Walking Lunges 4 x 12
Stiff Legged Deadlifts 4 x 10
Lying Hamstring Curls 4×10
Leg Extensions 4x 10
