How To Maximize Your Run And Reduce Injury

Today’s video (No Audio) focuses on the form for running, to minimize any risk of injury, and also to be able to run for longer, faster.   I found this video particularly helpful because it showed what they were talking about, even if there was no audio to listen to.  Here’s the things that this video suggests to keep in mind while running:

The lean in your body should come from your ankles, not your hips.

-Do not tilt your head to look down at your feet.

-Keep shoulders low and loose, not high and tight.

-Bend your arms at the elbow at about a 90-degree angle.

-Don’t slouch when running!

-Keep your back straight.

-Your foot should strike the ground directly underneath your hips.
