Kettlebell Form For Beginners

Kettlebell Techniques For Beginners

Improve Your Workout And Maximize Results!

So today I found this really cool kettlebell workout video that’s going to help really whup my butt into shape, very quickly.  This video really emphasizes the form of kettlebells, which is very important so you don’t hurt yourself swinging such a heavy piece of equipment.

The secret to kettlebell throws are snapping the hips forward, and not actually using your arms to propel the kettlebell.  Your back should be straight, and again, the movement is in the hips; pushing back and then snapping forward.  This works out your glutes and your abs especially, I could feel my burning from the intensity of using the kettle.  The kettlebell should come up to shoulder height when you snap your hip forwards.

In the dead cling, you really want to have watched the video to visually see how push the hand in and under the kettlebell to rotate your elbow in.  Make sure that you start with the kettlebell on the ground so you’re lifting all the weight each time from a dead rest.

I really liked this video because it went through step by step two of the basic kettlebell workouts,  and taught me how to improve my form to maximize my kettlebell workout!
