Easy Getting Started Video To Get You Kettlebell Ready
Hey Guys, so I’ve been wanting to get started doing kettlebells but I didn’t know where to start! This video helped me get out in the backyard and swinging around my dad’s kettlebell this morning, so hopefully you’ll enjoy this video as much as I did, and get motivated to start using a kettlebell! I didn’t get to complete this workout as well as I had wanted, because apparently 16 KG is a lot for someone who hasn’t been working out in a long time. Who knew?! I couldn’t lift the kettlebell above my head, but I was able to do squats and swings, and let me tell you I was out of breath! I need to go get a lower weight kettlebell.
The workout this video has you do is as follows:
Squats (10 reps)
Swings (10 reps)
Overhead presses (10 reps)
Swings (10 reps)
Rows (5 reps each arm)
Window (5 reps each side)
I loved how this workout didn’t take any time at all, but I felt like I got a really great workout, and I feel sore all over. What’s your favorite kettlebell routine for us beginning kettlebellers?
